We are so very proud to announce the Student Leadership Group for 2023, but before we do, we wanted to recognise the amazing Year 5 students who were unsuccessful in their applications.
They each demonstrated many of the qualities we wish to see in our student leaders and they each presented a very high standard of written application and speech. We reminded these students today that while there will be some disappointment in not being awarded their desired role now, many more opportunities to lead will become available in term one next year.
These roles include Cultural Captain, Student Mentor, Eco Warrior (class representative), Student Council (class representative), German Monitor, Art Monitor, Library Leader and STEAM Team (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics).
So to Akshaya, Sara, Lorelei, Nicholas, Naissa, Audrey, Abbey, Eamon, Violet, Ayaan, Willow, Krishav, Sameria, Emily and Lucia, we hope you do consider applying for one of these roles in Year 6.
