We are thrilled to announce that our Year 6 CMEE group recently participated in Round 2 of the APSMO Competition and achieved an outstanding result! The team showcased their exceptional mathematical problem-solving skills, earning a remarkable score of 45 points. We couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments!

Five of our talented students deserve special recognition for their stellar performance. Congratulations to Hannah T (6F), Pravin T (6F), Gilbert B (6M), Leo H (6M), and Adrian M (6W) for achieving a perfect 5-point round each. This remarkable feat highlights their dedication, hard work, and determination to excel in mathematical challenges.

The APSMO Contest comprises four separate contests, and the overall aim of the Olympiads is to encourage students to develop important mathematical problem-solving skills in an enjoyable environment. This prestigious competition is designed to be challenging, pushing students to enhance their abilities while fostering a love for mathematics.

It's important to note that in the APSMO Competition, students are not only competing against other members of their class and teams from different schools; they are primarily competing against themselves. The primary goal is personal growth and improvement throughout the year. Each challenge provides an opportunity for our students to enhance their problem-solving techniques, deepen their mathematical understanding, and sharpen their critical thinking abilities.

We commend all the participants in the APSMO Competition for their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Your enthusiasm and eagerness to embrace mathematical challenges are truly commendable. Remember, success is not solely measured by scores, but by the skills and knowledge you acquire along the way.

As we continue our journey, let's celebrate this remarkable success, learn from our experiences, and keep striving for new heights. We are confident that our Year 6 CMEE group will continue to excel in their mathematical pursuits and make us proud in future endeavours.
