βOn Tuesday June 7, as an extension of the CSS German Language Program, Year Five & Six students will be attending a German Movie at the German Film Festival.
In the award-winning movie, Mission Ulja Funk, 12- year-old Ulja discovers a small asteroid heading towards Earth. When Ulja is prevented from pursuing her passion, astronomy, she takes matters into her own hands so as to be able to watch the impact of the asteroid. In doing so, she has to shake off her critics, as well as her pragmatic view of friendship and family.
