Congratulations to both Black and Gold bands who performed brilliantly yesterday. Both groups received sensational feedback and should be very proud of themselves. Not only did the groups receive a Gold Award for their performances, the adjudicator, Dr Ralph Hultgren a much-revered conductor, adjudicator, and educator, made special comment on how he has never heard the bands from Coorparoo sound so good and their immaculate behaviour in the auditorium during other schools' performances. The young musicians represented the school exceptionally well and you as parents should be extremely proud.

As of next week, both Black and Gold Band will combine to form a Senior Concert Band. This group will rehearse from 7:30-8:45am each Tuesday beginning next week.
There will be no band or lessons tomorrow at school due to the competition today and needing to change day with another school.
