We have great news! We are now able to conduct choirs this year!
This is so exciting, because it has been over a year since we have been allowed to sing in large groups.
Coorparoo Cantabile is already taking place, but we can now offer Pop Choir and Kijini Choir for our students. Please read details below;
Kijini Choir – Years 1 and 2 – MONDAY FIRST BREAK
Pop Choir – Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 – TUESDAY FIRST BREAK
Coorparoo Cantabile – Years 4,5 and 6 – FRIDAY 8AM (ALREADY SCHEDULED)

Choir will commence in Week 5, Term 2.

The Kijini Choir is a fun singalong, with lots of movement and actions. This young choir will only perform at school and local church fetes.
The Pop Choir is a fun choir, singing less formal repertoire, with added movement and instruments, when appropriate. The choir chooses the repertoire, after consultation with the music teacher. This choir performs at school functions and does not complete in any choral competitions. Parents will be required to supply particular outfits for each performance e.g. colourful clothes, black and white theme, 70’s etc, depending on he repertoire. A letter will be sent home detailing the requirements, prior to each performance.
Please fill in the ‘Permission to Photograph’ consent form sent home and return to the school office by Friday 14 May.
We are looking forward to conducting choirs again and can’t wait to get started!
