The Pyjama Foundation was founded by Bronwyn Sheehan in 2004 to give foster children a chance to be educated with literacy, numeracy, life skills and confidence.
Through a program called Love of Learning program volunteers called Pyjama Angels are matched with foster children 1 hour a week to work on learning based activities.
92% of children in foster care have below average reading skills by the time they are 7 years old and it is very hard to catch up, 75% of children are not completing high school.
