One of our five Improvement Dimensions here at CSS references maintaining a culture of high performance, and to do so we need to ensure that ours is an ‘expert’ teaching team.
This week, nine of our staff have themselves returned to the ‘classroom’ to undertake professional learning opportunities. Our early career teachers participated with similar teachers from across the state to further develop and refine their repertoires of practice.
Others, who are part of an ‘Aspiring Thinkers’ network (in partnership with the IMPACT Centre and the University of Queensland), have continued their learning around embedding critical and creative thinking into their planning and delivery.
