The first match was an exhilarating contest between Turner 1 and Wentworth 2. The stands were filled with eager and enthusiastic fellow students, eagerly supporting their house teams. Turner 1 emerged victorious, displaying skilful and attack-minded football throughout the match. Their relentless determination and teamwork paid off, securing them a well-deserved win.
It's essential to acknowledge Wentworth 2's exceptional sportsmanship and dedication. Their unwavering support for one another and their display of wonderful sportsmanship throughout the match earned them the Football Fever Fair Play bonus point. We commend Wentworth 2 for setting a shining example of fair play and camaraderie on the field.
The excitement continues this Friday (14/07) as Turner 2 goes head-to-head against Wentworth 1. Expect another gripping match as these two talented teams battle it out on the field. We encourage all students to come out and cheer for their favourite team, filling the air with energy and support.
The Wolff Park Inter-House football tournament not only offers a platform for friendly competition but also teaches our students important life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of our young football stars and the effort they are putting into their matches.
