2026 MUSICAL ANNOUNCEMENT

In 2026 CSS P&C will be producing Matilda Jnr the musical for interested students. An information session for students considering signing up for the musical will be held in the music block on Friday the 14th at first break (11:15-11:40pm). 

​Sign up sheets will be up on the music block notice board on Monday the 17th of November. 

Year 3&4 - sign up for ensemble only (no audition required except for dancers). 

Year 5&6 - sign up for leads/featured characters (audition required) or ensemble (no audition required).

Please see a list of leads roles (key and featured characters) here​ to help your student decide what role they would like to audition for. 

For those students that sign up, information will go out to parents in Week 9 that will include a schedule of auditions, rehearsal and performances that will help families decide whether it is something they will be able to commit to.

Recognition must go to each of the 'Musical Teams' over the years, the casts and crews and the very generous musical directors who collectively have continued to showcase the very best in primary school musical productions.

Congratulations to the entire cast, our talented producers and directors, the gifted music team, and everyone involved in backstage production for their extraordinary work in bringing *Mary Poppins Junior* to life! It was an absolute joy to experience the show. The bar has been lifted yet again. 

A special shout-out to Eliza, Christina, George, and Marina, who formed the foundation leadership group and harnessed the creative talents of Dean, Monica, Leanne, Nicole, Stacy, and the entire team of volunteers. Your dedication over the past months has provided our children with an opportunity and experience they will cherish forever. Each of you should be immensely proud of what you have accomplished.
